    The Abu Dhabi International Centre for Organisational Excellence (ADICOE) operates within the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), specialising in providing services in Total Quality Management, Business Excellence and Innovation. ADICOE leads the coordination of the highly successful Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) based on the EFQM Excellence Model. SKEA is now in its 17th cycle with its popularity at its highest to date with over 80 applications in 2017.

     

    The APQO was founded and organized by National Quality Organizations in Asian and Pacific Rim countries including the American Society for Quality and was incorporated in the Philippines in 1985. It is a non-profit organization formed to be a primary mover for quality and continuous improvement for goods and services and quality of life. Each year APQO organises a major international quality conference and administers the Global Performance Excellence Award (an award that recognises the winners of national business excellence awards). ADICOE, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce represent Abu Dhabi in the APQO.

     

    The Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER) consists of three entities; COER, Massey University is the RESEARCH arm and focuses on “Acquiring Knowledge” through its doctoral research programs in business excellence, benchmarking and innovation. BPIR.com Limited is the KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER arm and focuses on Best Practice Sharing. COER Limited is the CONSULTANCY arm and focuses on “Applying Knowledge” through consultancy and training. COER is the founder of the TRADE Best Practice Benchmarking Methodology, International Best Practice Competition, and Organisation-wide Innovation Award. COER is currently delivering Dubai We Learn in partnership with the Dubai Government Excellence Program.

     

    The Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) since 1994 has played a key part in raising the awareness and use of benchmarking worldwide. The GBN comprises of 25 benchmarking centres in 21 countries. Every year the GBN organises an International Benchmarking Conference and a Global Benchmarking Award. Abu Dhabi’s GBN representatives are ADICOE, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce whilst the Dubai Quality Group represent Dubai.

     

    Host

    The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) is the host and major sponsor of the Global Organisational Excellence Congress. It views the Congress as an opportunity to bring local and international businesses together to share leading-edge business practices. The Congress will help to further develop Abu Dhabi businesses and showcase the Emirate’s best businesses around the world.
